painting on TOMs shoes

TOMs asked us to paint on their shoes at the Haight Street Shoe Biz a couple of Saturdays ago. Why we did it: for every purchased pair of shoes, they donate a pair to a child in need.

here are the results!

a day in the bay on hayes!

Check us out in the video "A Day in the Bay," made by the Disposable Film Festival for the Best of the Bay festival 2009: watch it

Also, our friend Richard Saja is featured in the Aug/Sept Readymade issue for an awesome art cabin installation that we participated in: How to Catch a Cabin

pushing 40

we just posted 40 something new paintings to our mini paintings page.

we like these two a lot, old river, new friend and meltdown

mission street merch

we painted on some vintage chinese postcards for our friends and creators of Mission Street Food, a thursdays & saturdays dinner event at Lung Shan Restaurant @ 2234 mission street (san francisco). we stopped by after our art show late last saturday night and stayed for dinner. the food was insanely good, we didn't think we could afford food like this. but MSF is generous with its reasonable prices and donations to local charities. we highly recommend it!

The names that follow

So last night we sat down and started putting some names to the paintings that are on our site.
Sandra has been working so much on the site and it is almost ready to launch!

Next week is our show SMALL WAS big . I hope that everyone can come rock out to the music of Friends off the Street and other bands like Lint Trap.

Now i am going to drink some mint tea!
